GTM Commercial Lead, Assessments

Summary:

The GTM Commercial Lead, Assessments will own the commercial strategy and execution for our benchmarking and assessments business, reporting to the head of GTM Partnerships. You will be responsible for our existing assessments pipeline while building a target account map of vertical healthcare AI builders. You will run commercial conversations end-to-end, from first conversation to contract signature.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain a target account map of vertical healthcare AI builders prioritizing by fit rather than volume
• Own commercial engagements end-to-end, including prospecting, negotiation, legal agreement development and customer management.
• Define and propose GTM strategy for the vertical, including pipeline target and prioritized accounts
• Qualify and structure deals as they arise
• Navigate the internal stakeholders needed to close and keep deals moving without unnecessary friction
• Maintain fluency in healthcare AI’s data landscape and constraints so you can speak credibly to both technical and business stakeholders

What Success Looks Like:

• 30 days: Learn the business and take ownership of the pipeline
• Onboard to Protege’s assessments and benchmarking business/ Take over ownership of the existing assessments pipeline and actively take on current relationships. Build a target account map of 15 to 20 vertical healthcare AI builders and begin identifying the path to our first contracts.
• 60 days: Define strategy and drive active conversations
• Run commercial conversations across accounts, driving towards active contracts. Define and propose the go-to-market strategy for the vertical.
• Close first tranche of assessments customers
• 90 days: Execute against strategic plan
• Execute against the defined go-to-market strategy, continually sourcing new partnerships while driving forward the ones already in motion.

What You Bring:

• Proven ability to run full-cycle commercial deals from first conversation through contracting in a complex business-to-business environment
• Track record of building and executing an account strategy from scratch, including targeting, prioritization, and follow-through
• Demonstrate skills navigating multi-stakeholder deals, including mapping technical and business buyers
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to speak credibly to both technical and business stakeholders
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and setting your own targets
• Operational rigor in pipeline management, including accurate stage hygiene and clear reporting on strategy progress, what is working and what is not
• Comfort in negotiating complex legal agreements
