Product Manager, New Product Bet (Principal-level)

About the role

Almost any company can produce training video at scale today. Almost none can tell you whether it actually made someone better at their job. We're building the product that closes that gap: an agentic, real-time experience where people practice live, dynamic scenarios, and where organizations finally get genuine signal on readiness, instead of a metric tied to course completion. This is a zero-to-one bet on what comes after content, which is practice, and proof.

You'll own one of two of the domains inside that bet, Surveys and Guidance, from strategy through ship.

Why now

Real-time, agentic AI has only just become good enough to hold a convincing live scenario, and to make sense of what happens inside one. The window to define this category is open now, and we intend to own it.

The problem you're solving

Today, the most a company can do to check whether someone has genuinely learned something is watch them complete a module or pass a quiz. The behaviors that matter in real roles, in real moments, are rarely tested reliably, and what comes back to the business is a thin, lagging signal.

We have the underlying technology to change that. What we need is a product manager who can turn it into something an enterprise will use to prepare its people, and that an end user actually wants to engage with, across two connected domains:

• Surveys - capturing structured, trustworthy signal at scale: how people feel, how they're performing, and where the gaps are.
• Guidance - giving people direction in the moment they need it, live and in context, rather than as a debrief after the fact.

Both sit inside the same bet: give organizations proof of readiness, not just proof of attendance.

What you'll be doing

• Owning the multi-quarter strategy for Surveys and Guidance, setting the direction, identifying the right problems to solve, and making the trade-offs needed to deliver against them.
• Defining and evolving the success metrics for both domains, and connecting product outcomes directly to commercial results: retention, expansion, and revenue impact.
• Getting close to the customers who matter most: understanding how they think, where current tools leave them exposed, and translating that into a product direction others can act on.
• Driving a shared understanding of where these product areas are going and why. Engineering, design, R&D, and commercial counterparts should all be able to articulate the strategy and the reasoning behind it.
• Producing written narratives, strategy docs, and PRDs, that move decisions forward and give your team the context to build the right thing without a follow-up conversation.
• Balancing short-term delivery with long-term product health: scoping to reflect execution risk, hitting milestones predictably, and iterating based on evidence rather than opinion.
• Contributing to improvements in product practice across the team, and actively participating in PM hiring.

Who you are

You've owned a critical product domain before, one where the stakes were real and the strategy was yours to set, not just execute. You're comfortable operating with autonomy on the what, not just the how, and you have a track record of connecting product decisions to commercial outcomes.

You understand that zero-to-one products in complex domains require you to hold two things at once: the discipline to deliver predictably in the short term, and the judgment to make the right long-term bets while the evidence is still forming. You don't wait for a clean brief. You identify the right problems, form a view, and bring others along.

You're a strong written communicator. Engineering and design partners, commercial leads, and senior leadership should all come away from your docs and updates with a clear understanding of where the domain is going and why, without needing to ask.

You care about the quality of the experience. Real-time, agentic products are unforgiving, and you hold a high bar for what "good" feels like, for the user in the moment and for the customer looking at outcomes.

You may be a good fit if you bring

• Significant experience in product management, with direct experience owning a critical product domain: setting strategy, not just executing it.
• A track record of connecting product outcomes to commercial results: ARR, retention, expansion, or equivalent.
• Experience with zero-to-one product development in a complex, experience-driven space. You've navigated the ambiguity of a zero-to-one build and have the scar tissue to show for it.
• Experience building agentic or AI-powered products. You understand what makes real-time AI interactions feel natural, and what breaks them.
• Strong written communication: strategy docs, PRDs, and decision memos that others can act on without a follow-up conversation.
• Experience working alongside enterprise buying motions. You'll be close to the commercial team, and that context matters.
