About the Opportunity:

TENEX is building its inbound and outbound sales engine, and this is a full-cycle seat owning the SMB and midmarket segment end to end. You'll work inbound demand and self-source outbound pipeline, then carry those deals from first touch through close. This is for someone who wants to run their own book, not just pass leads down the line.

What You'll Do:

• Own the full sales cycle. You'll prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, and close SMB and midmarket accounts end to end.
• Convert inbound demand. You'll work inbound leads quickly and consistently, turning marketing and self-serve interest into qualified opportunities.
• Build outbound pipeline. You'll self-source through targeted cold calls, email, and social outreach to accounts that fit TENEX's ICP.
• Run sharp discovery. You'll uncover each prospect's security gaps and show how TENEX's MDR closes them.
• Manage pipeline and forecast. You'll keep every deal current and forecast accurately in Salesforce.
• Partner across the team. You'll work with sales engineering on technical demos and feed win/loss insight back to marketing.
• Hit your number. You'll consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quota.

What You Bring:

• 1–3+ years of full-cycle or inside sales experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity.
• A proven track record of hitting quota across both inbound conversion and outbound prospecting.
• Strong discovery and closing skills — comfortable running a deal from first call to signature.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; you can hold a credible business conversation with technical and non-technical buyers.
• Disciplined pipeline management and Salesforce hygiene.

Bonus Points:

• Experience selling cybersecurity, MDR, or other security/IT solutions.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, Sandler).
• Experience selling into both SMB and midmarket in the same role.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Administrator are a plus.
