What We're Looking For

We are looking for a Head of Global Growth Marketing to build and scale our growth engine by connecting our portfolio and customer value to market opportunity and converting to pipeline. You will lead demand strategy and campaign execution across digital, paid media, webinars, email, web, and emerging channels. This is a new role and function in the company and ideal for builders with vision.

This is a marketing leadership role reporting to the CMO. You will define the operating model for how Lightning designs, tests, executes, and measures demand programs with the ability to grow and develop a high performing team. While San Francisco or New York is preferred, we are open to remote US based employees.

What You’ll Do

• Own the marketing growth strategy aligned to our business goals, go-to-market strategy, and solution readiness. Architect and scale the global demand generation engine, defining the long-term multi-channel strategy, go-to-market orchestration, and executive operating rhythm across customer segments, personas, and verticals.
• Lead and drive digital demand campaigns across all channels including: webinars, email, web, nurture, and new/emerging formats for experimentation.
• Build and scale ABM programs across priority accounts and segments, coordinating paid media with sales outreach, field marketing, executive engagement, events, and lifecycle programs.
• Partner with MarketingOps, SalesOps, and RevOps to define and continuously optimize a trusted approach to account targeting, account and lead scoring, pipeline performance, and reporting. Leverage insights to drive experimentation and improve effectiveness at optimal efficiency.
• Partner with Product Marketing and Management to define campaign strategy and design, offers, and audiences to drive demand and pipeline. Drive successful execution through all digital channels and in collaboration with Field Marketing & Events.
• Build and optimize the Product Led Growth Funnel with targeted campaigns and experiments designed to increase new user signups, purchases, and product usage.
• Establish experimentation and AI-native automation as core operating principles and develop testing frameworks across acquisition channels, landing pages, messaging, offers, website experiences, and conversion paths.
• Hire, coach, and scale a high-performing, creative team across all digital channels, PLG, and ABM, fostering a culture of experimentation, ownership, and continuous learning.

What You’ll Need

• 15+ years experience and strong track record of building and scaling B2B demand generation, digital marketing, or growth marketing in high growth technology companies
• Deep understanding of complex B2B buying journeys, buying committees, complex sales cycles, account segmentation, ABM, and sales-assisted conversion.
• Experience working with product-led/self-service growth motions for developer and end user communities.
• A testing mindset and the operating discipline to turn learnings into repeatable programs, systems, and investment decisions.
• Analytical & Financial Acumen with deep proficiency in attribution, pipeline modeling, and managing budgets and vendors.
• Strong business acumen and executive presence. Earns trust and builds credibility with strong communication skills and cross-functional leadership. Can hold a strong point of view and be comfortable making hard calls.
• Hands-on leader who is comfortable building from scratch with experience operating at scale. You know what good looks like and can build from 0 to N.

We are committed to offering competitive compensation that reflects the value each team member brings to our mission. Final offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, geographic location, and role expectations. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package for eligible roles includes a discretionary bonus, a meaningful equity component, and comprehensive benefits.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is:

$260,000—$270,000 USD
