About the Role

We're hiring a front line Sales Development Manager to partner with our Director of Sales Development to build and lead the team of Sales Development Representatives generating pipeline for our Growth and Enterprise segments out of San Francisco. You'll join at a pivotal moment: we're scaling fast, moving upmarket, and establishing Reducto as the category leader in agentic document processing for AI teams. This is a chance to shape the sales development function from the ground up — the playbook, the team, and the culture — rather than inherit one.

This is an on-site role based out of our San Francisco Office.

What You'll Do

• Manage and mentor a growing team of high-performing Sales Development Representatives, giving them the coaching, tools, and support they need to build pipeline and hit their numbers. (8-10 reps)
• Evolve Reducto's outbound playbook — build, test, and roll out new prospecting strategies and messaging that improve meeting quality and drive more qualified pipeline into our Growth and Enterprise segments
• Grow the SDR team through active involvement in recruiting, onboarding, and training new reps
• Build strategic prospecting training, run weekly pipeline and forecasting reviews, and coach your direct reports on what actually moves deals forward
• Help foster an inclusive, high-performance sales culture that reflects Reducto's values
• Put an individual development plan in place for each rep, and keep it current so people keep growing
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, and our Growth and Enterprise Account Executives to improve conversion from first touch through closed deal
• Work with sales leadership to build a team that uses data and frameworks to inform decisions — but isn't afraid to launch, iterate, and redo to get the job done

How to Be Successful in This Role

• Based in the or surrounding San Francisco Bay Area, CA, with the ability to work on-site — 5 days per week in our SF office
• 3–5 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in a management or team-lead capacity
• Experience in B2B SaaS sales and sales management, ideally selling technical or AI/ML products
• A track record prospecting into multiple market segments and personas, from technical buyers to business stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving instincts and a genuine enjoyment of fast-paced, high-volume, early-stage environments
• Enough technical curiosity to understand how Reducto's document AI platform works, and to build credibility with highly technical, ML-savvy prospects
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship
• Open to using AI to amplify your own work — curiosity, a willingness to learn, and good judgment about applying it responsibly
