Role Summary

Reducto is hiring a Strategic Projects Lead to be the GTN team's highest-leverage operator. This role exists for the initiatives that don't yet have an owner, a playbook, or even a clear shape — a new enterprise motion that needs to be stood up in weeks, a data quality program that needs a first version, a partnership pilot that needs someone to drive it to a real outcome. You'll work directly with Reducto's leadership on whatever is most critical that quarter, own it end-to-end from scoping through execution, and hand it off once it has a home.

Think of yourself as the "CEO" of each project you take on: you define what good looks like, you pull in the right people across Engineering, Product, and GTM to get it done, and you build the systems and data to prove it's working. Scope will shift — sometimes weekly — based on what the business needs most.

This is an in-person role at our office in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.

We would love to meet you if you possess the following:

• Builder Mindset: You default to building the right solution rather than reaching for an off-the-shelf one, and you have the taste and technical chops to back it up. You're fast, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity — and you have a track record of shipping systems that teams actually adopt and respect.
• Experience: You have 4–8 years in GTM Ops, RevOps, Sales Ops, or BizOps at SaaS companies, and you've personally stood up a GTM/RevOps function from scratch or near-zero. You've thrived in high-growth environments where adaptability is essential.
• Technical Foundation: Deep hands-on expertise with Salesforce and HubSpot — you can build them from first principles (objects, lifecycle stages, automation, routing, permissions). You're comfortable working directly with raw data, building dashboards and tools, and partnering with engineering and data when something needs to be built that no SaaS product can do for you.
• Analytical Rigor: Strong modeling, diagnosis, and explanation skills. You can build forecasts that GTM and Finance both trust, design comp models that drive the right behavior, and turn raw signal into the clear answers leadership needs to make decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You partner closely with GTM leaders, Finance, Product, and engineering to turn strategy into executable systems. You're skilled at translating ambiguous business needs into the operational scaffolding that makes them real.
• Low Ego, High Ownership: You default to ownership, not ticket-taking. You identify operational gaps proactively and ship solutions before someone has to ask. You're collaborative, low-drama, and you bias toward automation and simplification at every turn.

The core work will include:

• Serve as operator and de facto owner for Reducto's highest-priority special initiatives, driving each from ambiguous starting point to measurable outcome
• Partner directly with the executive team on shifting priorities — a new GTM motion, a partnership pilot, an enterprise escalation, a data or quality program, or a new product initiative
• Design 0-to-1 workflows and processes: define standards for what "done" looks like, distinguish acceptable work from unacceptable, and identify edge cases before they become fires
• Drive cross-functional execution across Engineering, Product, GTM/Sales, and Operations — with no formal authority, just the ability to align people around an outcome
• Build the dashboards, reporting, and lightweight analytics needed to track progress, surface bottlenecks, and make the data-backed case for what to prioritize next
• Identify inefficiencies inside a project and simplify or automate them without sacrificing quality, then transition mature systems to the team that will own them long-term
• Prepare crisp updates and briefings for executive leadership, and for customers or partners where relevant
• Run multiple concurrent projects in parallel, context-switching quickly and operating with incomplete information

Bonus points if you:

• 2–5 years in a high-intensity operational, consulting, banking, or startup 0-to-1 role, with a track record of owning ambiguous, cross-functional projects end-to-end
• Strong analytical and quantitative ability — comfortable working directly with data (SQL/Python or equivalent) to find, prove out, and ship solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to brief executives clearly and fast
• An entrepreneurial mindset — energized by building something out of nothing rather than waiting for a playbook
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally without formal authority
• A bias toward speed and action, and genuine comfort with scope that changes on short notice
